What is PriorityQuote?

PriorityQuote is the dedicated online tool to manage the entire lifecycle of Priority Health small group plans, from quoting and enrolling new business to managing and finalizing renewals.

A High-Level Guide to Using PriorityQuote

This guide provides a high-level overview of the core functionalities of PriorityQuote, our dedicated online tool for quoting and enrolling Priority Health small group plans. All agents contracted with Priority Health have automatic access to this tool through the Agent Center.

The Core Workflow in PriorityQuote

PriorityQuote provides a streamlined process for managing both new business and renewals. The workflow is divided into two distinct paths depending on the group's status.

1. For New Business Groups

This process takes you from creating a new prospect to submitting a completed application.

  • Create a Group: Begin by selecting "New Group" and entering the prospective client's information, including group name, effective date, and ZIP code. You will also assign an agent to the quote at this stage.

  • Add the Census: Manually add employees and dependents or use the "Import census" feature to upload data from an Excel spreadsheet. The system will validate the census information for completeness.

  • Generate a Proposal: Once the census is loaded, you can view all available plans and their corresponding premiums. Select the plans you wish to present to the client by checking the box next to them. This adds them to the "Selected Plans" section.

  • Assign Plans (for multiple options): If the group will be offered multiple plan options, use the "Assign Plans" feature to see correct rates based on anticipated enrollment in each plan.

  • Create and Export Proposal: Click "Create proposal" to generate a comprehensive package that can include the new group application, rate grids, and plan benefit documents. You can then save this package to your computer.

  • Enroll in Coverage: After the client has made their decisions, select the final sold plans and click "Enroll." This will take you to the group application.

  • Complete Application & Submit: Fill out all required fields in the group application, upload supporting documents, complete the employee information forms, and provide an agent signature to submit the group for review.

2. For Renewing Groups

This workflow is designed to manage the renewal process for existing groups efficiently.

  • Access Renewals: From the PriorityQuote dashboard, select "Renewal Groups" or find the group in the "Upcoming Renewals" table.

  • View Renewal Package: You can view the initial renewal package as generated by Priority Health. To make any changes or quote alternatives, select "Quote Alternates."

  • Update the Census: The quote will open with the current census on file. You can add or remove employees and dependents as needed to reflect the group's most current roster.

  • Select Renewal Plans: Compare the "as-is" renewal plans with suggested ACA alternatives. Check the box next to any plans you want to include in the proposal for the client.

  • Create and Present Proposal: Just as with new business, you can generate a full proposal package with the selected renewal options to present to the client.

  • Finalize Renewal: Once the client has made their decision, select the final plans and click "Enroll."

  • Complete Renewal Decision Form: Fill out the required renewal forms, update any group eligibility information, and complete the agent acknowledgement to finalize the renewal process.
